The sjcam sj6pro has surpassed many cameras in the same price range, and in China, you only need 400+RMB to own one. The SONY imx576 used on COMS is quite powerful. But the video is not very good, personally I think it needs post production color adjustment. (Medium or high sharpness), the details are not very good. I am comparing it to GoPro and request developers to strengthen the firmware! Request developers to strengthen firmware! Request developers to strengthen firmware!
Powerful performance, but poor firmware. I hope SJCAM can be like DJI

Alter one month of use: video quality is poor, and the same in all modes of resolution. In 2k7 and 4k modes looks like interpolated 1080p. I also have SJ5000X, and this cam records better sharp egdes than SJ6 Pro. Poor bitrate or poor optics? Firmware v1.7.4

So I have done a bit of testing at this point and here's what I'll share. If you are buying this expecting to use the app wirelessly like you would with a G* P** you can forget about it. The app is terrible. would be at least 4 starts if the app worked. So bad it makes the camera lock up any time it's connected. Now on the other hand if you just want a camera for filming, and don't need the app, (you don't) it works very well. I can verify 2+ hours of recording on a single charge at 4k 60hz. I also learned you can charge it while recording so if you have power to it you can get about 16 hours (4K 60hz) on a 256gb card. I did notice the files are only 17 minutes or so each, but it keeps filming without stopping. An issue I've had on other cameras. Small, light, inexpensive. It should work well for the purpose I have in mind.
