Picture quality is every bit as good as the GoPro Hero 4 that I use it in conjunction with. I use it in an airplane so I do wish that there was an ND filter that I could attach to the lens to blur the slow moving propeller affect caused by the shutter speed. Otherwise you can't beat the price too.
I purchased this little guy to disassemble it, remove the IR filter, and make it into a full spectrum camera for paranormal investigating. Even before modifying it, the picture quality was fantastic. I don't know why many people pay so much for a GoPro when this bad boy exists. The apps for it are amazing as well. It's as well built, if not better, than a GoPro for a fraction of the price. It comes with all the same accessories, too.
